Curing Low Self Esteem

“There were times I felt I needed to punish myself for failing in my marriage.  The funny thing about that is you begin to also think you are a failure in other parts of your life too.  As a Mom, Friend, sister or daughter.  Your brain can make you think crazy thoughts. 

One of my friends suggested, to give myself a pick me up.  Do something fun, and even out of my comfort zone.  She had a boudoir session and her pictures were gorgeous.  She said it made her feel like a super model or queen for the day. I then started listening to that voice in my head telling me, I could never do it and I did not have pretty lingerie or even know anything about how to pose.  When I called Bonita, she was so fun and happy and upbeat, you could not help but laugh and talk and feel at ease just listening to her.  That phone call alone put me at ease.
